Hairun Mobile 2.4 adds rewarded-video quote discounts

The Android and iOS release introduces a rewarded-video opt-in that unlocks discounted freight quotes for verified buyers.

The 2.4 release of Hairun Mobile introduces a rewarded-video flow that lets verified buyers unlock a 10 percent discount on freight for any quote within seven days of watching the ad. The mechanism is opt-in and surfaced only after a quote has been generated — never during catalogue browsing.

Buyers continue to see a splash ad on launch and standard interstitial and banner placements elsewhere in the app. The rewarded-video slot is a new opt-in tier and does not replace existing ad formats.

The release ships to Google Play and the Apple App Store today. Existing users will receive the update over the next seven days through their store's auto-update mechanism.

Dual-sourcing playbook for European hardware buyers

A new white paper outlines how retailers can split volume between two Asian factories to survive tariff volatility.

The white paper introduces a four-step playbook for retailers considering a dual-sourcing structure in Asia: demand baselining, supplier qualification, landed-cost modelling and ongoing scorecards. Each step is annotated using anonymised cases drawn from Hairun Trading's framework-agreement portfolio.

The paper argues that single-source concentration is the largest unpriced risk in mid-market European hardware procurement, and provides a decision tree for when dual sourcing pays for itself given tariff regimes in 2026.

The paper is available to verified buyers on request. Existing key accounts can request the full document via the standard account-manager channel.

Hairun signs framework agreement with a German retail chain

The agreement covers annual supply of home goods and packaging materials under a single master purchase order.

The framework agreement runs for an initial 24 months and covers annual supply of home goods and packaging materials. The counterparty is a multi-store German retail chain operating under a familiar brand in the value segment.

Under the agreement, the buyer issues a single master purchase order, with quarterly releases covering categories including kitchenware, small furniture and corrugated packaging. Hairun Trading will coordinate factory audits, packaging artwork and freight forwarding on the buyer's behalf.

This is the third European framework agreement signed in the past twelve months and reflects Hairun Trading's strategy of growing long-horizon partnerships over spot order volume.

RoHS and REACH documentation now standard on every shipment

All electronics and hardware shipments leave our warehouse with full RoHS and REACH test reports attached.

All electronics and hardware shipments now leave our Mongkok warehouse with full RoHS and REACH test reports attached. The documentation bundle includes the test certificate, a current material declaration and a copy of the underlying factory's audit trail.

For buyers in the EU and the UK, the bundled documentation meets the requirements of CE marking and the UKCA scheme for the relevant product categories. For North American buyers, the same documentation supports CPSIA compliance and several retail-chain vendor manuals.

There is no additional charge for the documentation. Buyers should request the inclusion of country-specific test certificates (e.g. Proposition 65 for California) when raising a quote.

Expanded plastic resin catalogue with recycled-content grades

The catalogue adds rPET, rPP and rABS grades with chain-of-custody documentation and recycled-content certificates.

The plastic resin catalogue adds recycled-content grades (rPET, rPP and rABS) sourced from audited reprocessors in Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. Each lot ships with a chain-of-custody certificate, a recycled-content percentage statement and a mill test report.

Buyers specifying recycled content for retailer compliance (e.g. EU SUPD, US state EPR) should request the relevant certification at quote time. Lead times for recycled grades are typically 7–14 days longer than virgin grades.

The catalogue retains all virgin ABS, PP, PE, PVC and PET grades in pellet, regrind and compounded forms. Mill test certificates continue to be attached to every shipment.

Hairun Trading marks ten years of cross-border trade

A look at the past decade, the partners who made it possible and the road ahead.

Hairun Trading Co., Limited marks ten years of cross-border trade this quarter. The company began as a two-person sourcing desk in Mongkok and now coordinates eleven business lines and a mobile commerce app serving buyers in more than twenty countries.

Over the past decade the company has shipped consumer electronics, hardware, plastics, home goods, daily merchandise and packaging to retailers in Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, the UK, the US, Canada, Australia and Japan. The largest single change in the past three years has been the launch of the Hairun Mobile app and the corresponding growth of in-app advertising as a sustainable funding model.

The next decade will focus on deeper partnerships with European retailers, expansion into recycled-content plastics, and continued investment in the mobile platform. We thank the partners, staff and buyers who made the first decade possible.
